Spring - Lateral Drive
On the back of the distributor, this spring helps the system operate smoothly as it moves side-to-side. Springs weaken over time - inspect this for proper hook shape and coil tension.
The spring is also used on the steel table yoke and spotting cup assemblies. the spring attaches to clips on the 4th shaft of the yoke and to the eyelets on the Table Support Weldments.
