This is a rod that is mounted to a rubber shock mount, which is attached to the Tread Plate Weldments on the Back Ends. It pushes the pin into the pocket of the pin elevator wheel as the pin is carried up toward the pin guide, insuring the pin is fully seated in the pocket. This is an critical adjustment to prevent pin feed jams
